  • The cost of custom work depends on a number of factors. These include the complexity of the design, the materials and tools needed; such as lettering, numbers, quotes and sayings, including emblems, images and size of the design are caculated by the hour and will change the total amount of due for the custom carving.  

    Deposit
    The Artist requires a non-refundable deposit of 40% (50% for commissions to be shipped internationally) or other amount mutually agreed upon within 30 days from when the Client acknowledges acceptance of the Artist’s price for creating the artwork; once the deposit has been paid you will be scheduled in the queue. 

    Order Payment
    The online payment will be applied to your deposit, remaining balance will be applied to your final amount and your invoice adjusted accordingly.
    The Artist will accept payments by installment throughout the period of creating the artwork as agreed to by both parties before commencement of work
    Full payment of the remaining monies owed is required at handover of the artwork or for delivery. The commissioned artwork will not be released until payment has been made in full.
    *Artwork will only be delivered once FULL payment has been received and cleared by the Artist’s bank.

    Please email images for custom pieces to klcarvings@gmail.com. Images will be reviewed and you will be contacted to discuss any changes needed.

    SPECS
    Wood: Most items are made from Basswood, Elm, Oak Cedar or Pecan. Custom type of wood can be requested.
    Standard Sizes: 8x10 / 12 x 12 / 13x15 / Custom Size
    Type of Carving:  3D:      In the Round 
                                Relief: Standard Sign or Plaque, 
                                Add:   Mirror or Shadow Box

    Anything added other than wood is considered an embellishment, such as, Rhinestones, Sequins, Ribbons, Glitter, Glass, Metals.

    Shipping and Taxes:
    Shipping costs will be added to the final total once custom order is ready to ship. Shipping cost is based on weight and delivery destination
     All orders are custom made per client and will be shipped within 10  business days of completion via USPS or UPS unless otherwise requested. You will be responsible for taxes + shipping and handling costs
